Debut:
Totnes-born defender Gary Smart signed for Stevenage Borough in summer 1994 from Oxford United, where he had played around 170 Football League games. Before he joined Oxford, Smart had spent time at Wokingham Town.
Smart departed Broadhall Way just before Christmas 1994 and moved onto play for Chertsey, Canvey Island and Chesham United.
