BORO' CAREER:
Years: 2001-2
Apps: 33 (13)
Goals: 15

Debut: vs Woking (A), 05/10/2001

The enigmatic French striker was recruited by Paul Fairclough from Rushden and Diamonds in 2001 as one half of a double signing that also included Simon Wormull. Sigere contributed goals to help Boro's league and Trophy campaign, despite being a tad slow to adjust to life at Broadhall Way.

Siggy started to show his best in 2002, and scored perhaps one of the finest goals ever seen at Broadhall Way against Barnet in March, while also boasting the achievement of having the longest name at Boro' since Leo Fortune-West and Jamie Barnwell-Edinboro'.

However, he soon fell out of favour with the management at Broadhall Way - one that was deploying a rotation policy with Neil Illman et al. In December 2002 JMS was signed by rivals Margate after his rejection from the first team and subsequent transfer request.

He moved to Hartsdown Park for £7,500 before enjoying spells at a number of other clubs in the years since his departure. Hornchurch, Lewes and Horsham have all benefited from his experience; experience that came back to haunt Boro' in 2008 when Sigere scored in an FA Cup tie against Horsham.
