Boro' Debut: vs Southport (A), 02/11/2002
Manager Wayne Turner brought in this former Peterborough utility player on a short-term deal, primarily as cover for Matt Fisher and Sam McMahon, as Boro' hit an injury crisis in early November '02. Scott arrived from rivals Telford as a non-contract player, having had Football League experience at Shrewsbury and Birmingham, as well as the Posh.
In December 2002 Scott returned to Peterborough to complete the season among Barry Fry's patched-up Division 2 ranks. His only Boro' goal was a stunning 40-yard free kick in the 4-3 home defeat against Luton in the LDV Trophy.
Graham Westley moved to re-sign Scott at the beginning of January 2004 as another injury crisis depleted the squad ahead of a Conference fixture at Hereford United, and with Peterborough only using Scott once during the 2003/04 season - for nine minutes in an FA Cup game against Hereford - the midfielder was allowed to come to Westley's aid.
