After establishing himself in the Football League, midfielder Steve Perkins made the switch to Stevenage Borough in 1997 and made a modest amount of appearances during his stint at the club.
Following a loan spell at Welling United, the player moved onto Woking in 1998 for the princely sum of £10,000 before popping up at Dagenham & Redbridge, Aldershot and Gravesend & Northfleet in later years.
