Left-back Murray joined Stevenage Borough in January 2008 after moving from Blue Square Premier side Stafford Rangers. Originally starting out at Blackburn Rovers, the player has had spells at Cambridge United and Northampton Town.
In and out of the first team during the second half of the 2007/8 season, it was never conducive to consistent performances, and injuries were becoming a problem for the left-back. At the end of the 2007/8 season, it was perhaps a little unfortunate, but Murray was released by the club.
