Scott Mitchell joined Peter Taylor's ranks at Broadhall Way in the latter stages of the 2007/8 season after leaving Peterborough United. After originally starting out at Ipswich Town, starting berths were at a premium for the defender who then moved north of the border to join Livingston.
His time at Broadhall Way was a fairly auspicious affair, with just a handful of appearances squeezed in before the end of the season. Whatever the arrangment that had brought Mitchell to Broadhall Way, new manager Graham Westley didn't continue it, and the player went to Rushden & Diamonds on a free transfer.
