Player Profile - ALAN JULIAN

Courtesy of: Matt Ranson Despite only signing for Stevenage Borough in February 2005, goalkeeper Alan Julian was one of the players who was crucial to setting Boro' on the path to the Conference playoff final. He proved to be an inspired signing by manager Graham Westley, although it is said that coach Lionel Perez played a role in highlighting the talent of the former Brentford man.

Voted the Supporters' Association Player of the Year for 2005/6, Julian continued the superb run of form that he'd experienced in the brief time he'd been at the club in the 2004/5 season. On numerous occasions, Julian has been called upon to bail Boro' out of a tight spot with inspired saves and commanding performances. Securing the services of Julian for the 2005/6 season is crucial to Boro's ambitions, as the Northern Irish star is unequalled in the Conference.
