Player Profile - RONNIE HENRY
|
The services of former Tottenham Hostpur defender, Ronnie Henry, were secured on a free transfer in January 2004, and the player has proved to be an integral part of the Stevenage Borough defence. Henry's awareness and co-ordination are two factors that make him one of the best defenders in the Nationwide Conference, a fact not gone unnoticed by England National Game manager, Paul Fairclough.
Henry has also proved versatile, covering at right back on occasion, but it is in the centre of the defence where he proves to be most effective, and opposing strikers will always find it a tough task to find their way past Henry. Alongside Luke Oliver and Jason Goodliffe, Boro's defence is looking in good stead ahead of the 2006/7 season.
