A late addition to the Stevenage Borough squad just before the start of the 2006/7 season, David Hicks was snapped up by manager Mark Stimson following a handful of impressive showings in the pre-season campaign.
Having started his career at Tottenham Hotspur, the midfielder moved to Northampton Town in 2004 but found first team opportunities limited. Released in the summer of 2006, Hicks moved to Broadhall Way but only made four appearances at the club.
