Boro' Debut: vs Kettering Town (A), 26/12/2003
Jo Flack's first team opportunities were limited to mostly substitute appearances, but the 2004/5 season represented the regard in which he was held by manager Graham Westley, as the young striker made more appearances in a Boro' shirt than the previous two seasons combined. After making his debut under Wayne Turner back in 2002, it wasn't until the last day of the 2003/4 season until Graham Westley gave Flack his chance, who took it with a goalscoring display.
Flack's record did him a lot of credit, with three goals in as many starts for the Hertfordshire club. But with established strikers ahead of him in the pecking order, Flack had to look elsewhere for football. An unsuccessful spell at Havant & Waterlooville was followed up by a move to Essex side Billericay Town. The striker's goalscoring talent is not to be understated, and there is no reason why Flack can't return to the Nationwide Conference and beyond.
