Scott Eustace was signed by Boro' on a non-contract basis in early September '02 to shore up some of the defensive frailties that had cost dear in early fixtures. However that requirement was never taken up, as his only ever Boro' appearance was reduced to a 90-minute seat on the bench away to Margate.
