Midfielder Andy Drury was the sixth capture made by Graham Westley in the close season of 2008 with an eye on establishing a squad capable of making a strong challenge for promotion in 2008/9. Drury joined the Broadhall Way club from newly-promoted Lewes, with whom he helped win the Blue Square South title in 2008.

The versatile midfielder came with experience of playing in the Blue Square Premier, having spent a successful two seasons at Ebbsfleet United before moving down to Lewes in 2006. With Drury is the option to play him in any position across Boro's midfield line, from the centre berths out to the wings.

In no time at all, Drury proved to be one of Boro's premier performers and started to attract unwanted interest from other clubs. A successful 2008/9 campaign was backed up the following year as the Broadhall Way faithful were treated to some extraordinary strikes during the 2009/10 season.

Despite achieving promotion to the Football League with Boro' in 2010, Drury opted - somewhat surprisingly - to remain in the Blue Square Premier by signing a deal with Luton Town.

Stats do not include expunged Chester City fixtures in 2009/10.
