One of the many players over the years to enjoy two spells with Stevenage Borough, Steve Cox made his first appearances in a Boro' shirt as part of a loan spell from Hertfordshire neighbours Barnet in 1987/8. However, he was held in such high regard that he was secured on a permanent basis a few years later.
