A summer signing in 2004, Dannie Bulman was held in high regard by the Stevenage Borough fans after two seasons of consistently good and committed performances in the centre of midfield.
Week-in, week-out, Bulman performed to a high standard, and as a result it was no surprise that both the Supporters' Association and the readers of BoroGuide both selected him as the player of the season for 2004/5.
However, Bulman's goal tally didn't quite reflect the influence that he had within the team, with just three goals in nearly a hundred starts. That said, nothing could detract from Bulman's determination which does not go unnoticed.
The midfielder, who has even played in goal for Boro' in one instance, was a popular player at Broadhall Way.
