Boro' Debut: vs Wrexham (A), 09/08/2008
Utility player Michael Bostwick signed for Stevenage Borough in the summer of 2008, having decided to leave Ebbsfleet United where he was part of the 2008 FA Trophy winning squad. At only 20 years old when he made the switch to Broadhall Way, there is certainly a bright future ahead for the midfielder, and he has firmly established himself as Boro' look towards getting to the Football League in 2009.
Bostwick provided Boro' with plenty of midfield cover into the 2009/10 title-winning campaign, with the potential for the player to play across the line whether centrally or out wide. More commonly used in the back line, however, during the 2008/9 season, Bostwick proved himself to be one of the most versatile players on the books and an asset that Graham Westley has immense faith in.
A return to midfield gave Boro' a powerhouse that enabled colleagues to play with freedom around him, while Bossie's ability to strike the ball with venom contributed valuable goals.
Stats include expunged Chester City fixtures in 2009/10.
