HISTORY

Narrowly pipped to the Isthmian League title in two successive seasons during the 1980s, Worthing has yet to experience life beyond the top of the then-Step Six of the English football pyramid. The club was a dominant force in Sussex football during the inter-war years, with seven titles before the outbreak of the Second World War before eventually joining the Corinthian League in 1948.

Since joining the Isthmian League in 1977, the Rebels have remained there since.
