HISTORY

Formed a couple of years before the Second World War, Woodford Town's exploits in the Delphian and Metropolitan Leagues culminated in a brief appearance in the Southern League in 1971/2. However, it was a poor season and the club joined the Essex Senior League four years after leaving the Southern League in 1972.

Another five-season stay in the Southern League came during the 1980s, before the Essex Senior League, Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division South and London Intermediate League were all entered in the seasons leading up to the club's demise in 2003.
