HISTORY

Three local clubs joined forces in 1920 to breathe life into the new Wisbech Town FC, which has seen action in a fair few league competitions throughout the years without any major success. United Counties League football gave way to Eastern Counties League action in the early 1950s, albeit briefly.

The club then opted to join the Midland League. In 1958, Wisbech joined the Southern League but returned to the Eastern Counties League in 1970. But for five years back in the Southern League between 1997 and 2002, the club has remained in the ECL.
