HISTORY

Formed in 1892, Windsor and Eton spent their early days surrounded by contemporaries such as Tottenham Hotspur. However, the club hasn't quite reached such heady heights and have been restricted to a number of years at the top of the Isthmian League.

Fortunes since the turn of the Millennium had not been as kind, and - despite a return to the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2004 - the club found itself in Southern League Division One South and West. A title win in 2010, however, saw the club's promotion to the Premier Division.

Unfortunately, Windsor and Eton FC ceased trading in early 2011 after being wound up at the High Court. At the time of writing, it was hoped that a new club could be established to take the place of its 119-year-old predecessor.
