HISTORY

Don't be confused with the Vauxhall Motors based on the Wirral. This particular Vauxhall Motors side - which Stevenage came up against in the Vauxhall Football League Division Two North during the 1990/1 season - was born out of the car manufacturing industry in Luton.

Naturally, the demise of said industry was mirrored in the fortunes of the football side, which has long since folded after dropping off the radar having finished second behind Boro' and, in doing so, gaining promotion to the Diadora League Premier Division in 1991.
