HISTORY

Forerunners to a club of the same name currently in existence, Trowbridge Town ceased to exist in 1998 to bring an end to a long life that had seen the club spend three seasons in the Alliance Premier League during the 1980s.

As recently as 1995, the former Trowbridge Town had retained its status as a Southern League Premier Division side. The battle against relegation was lost, however, and was not long before the collapse of the club came about.
