Coming By Car? A lengthy journey is in store for those driving to Torquay. Travel south on the A1(M), then anti-clockwise on the M25 to Junction 12 for the M3. Head south on the M3 and join the A303 towards Exeter. Continue onto the A30 when nearing Exeter, and then take the southbound M5 until it becomes the A38 for Torquay. After about six miles, bear left onto the A380 and continue to Newton Abbot and the Penn Inn Roundabout. From here, follow signs to Torquay, past the Willows Shopping Centre, and then take the next left at traffic lights. Follow signs for Torquay United FC/Plainmoor through 3 roundabouts. At the top of the hill go straight on at traffic lights into Warbro Road. The ground is on the right hand side, and the away fans' turnstiles are just off Warbro Road. Where To Park? It is most likely the case that you'll be rooting out street parking for games at Plainmoor. The ground is in the middle of a fairly extensive residential area, and the car park at the ground is almost certainly going to be for the use of players and officials given the small size of it. |
