Torquay United's Plainmoor is a ground that has seen much over the many years that it has been open. It has been The Gulls' home since they were formed in 1921, and very little has changed since and at 6,000, the capacity of Plainmoor isn't the largest in the Football League.

However, the venue will adequately cope with the amount of supporters most teams are likely to take down to the English riviera. All in all, it offers what you would expect from a standard box ground. The acoustics are particularly strong, leading to some raucous atmospheres on occasion.
