HISTORY

Formed in 1932 as the result of a merger between Tooting Town and Mitcham Wanderers, Tooting and Mitcham United remained in the Isthmian League for the vast majority of its history. It is perhaps fair to say that the club's most iconic campaign was 1975/6, if not for their league form - the club had dropped into Isthmian League Division One by this point.

After seeing off Stevenage Athletic after a FA Cup second qualifying round replay, The Terrors swept aside Football League-outfit Swindon Town on the way to a narrow fourth round defeat against Bradford City. The club also reached the FA Trophy quarter final that season.
