HISTORY

Formed in 1948, the club immediately joined the Southern League and made it their long-term home but for four years in the Kent League. The Angels suffix was adopted in 1994 after making their return to the Southern League, although whatever story behind the angelic branding is one that has passed BoroGuide by.

Reorganisation in 2004 saw the club leave the Southern League for the Isthmian League and the Angels narrowly missed out on promotion to the Blue Square South in 2009 after playoff heartbreak against Carshalton Athletic.
