HISTORY

The rather exotically named Thrapston Venturas were formed in 1960 but have since - in the mid-1990s - decided to change to the rather conformatist Thrapston Town. Still a member of the United Counties League, the club has been a staple of Division One for three decades - a second place finish in 2000 one of their better finishes to a league campaign.

Another second place finish in 2011 brought promotion to the Premier Division.
