Swindon Town may have a slight reputation as an unfashionable club, but it was the free-scoring antics of Jan Aage Fjortoft that endeared the club to the nation's heart as they fought a largely unsuccessful Premier League campaign during the 1993/4 season that was to be the club's only venture into the top flight.

But that is not what stands out as the Robins' crowning achievement; in 1969, the club defied the odds to defeat Arsenal in the League Cup final. But Stevenage fans will have fond memories of Swindon Town; in 1998, Boro' secured a famous FA Cup win at the County Ground when the hosts were still in the second tier.

No-one cares that the Robins beat Boro' 2-0 at the same venue in 2005 because that was an LDV Trophy game, and no-one counts them. Not if you're honest...
