HISTORY

Formed in 1902, senior football was a long time in coming for Stansted Football Club. After initially competing in the Herts County League Premier Division, the club were founder members of the Essex Senior League in 1971. It is there that Stansted has since remained. Stansted have won the FA Vase - the club's most prominent honour, although recent years were marked with mediocrity before league success in 2010.
