HISTORY

Like Stevenage, Stamford are another club who have attempted to scale the pyramid from United Counties League beginnings. OK, so Stamford had a couple of decades in the Midland League but the premise is all the same. The club has so far managed to propel themselves into the Southern League Premier Division before switching to the Unibond League Premier Division in 2007, but progress was checked with relegation in 2008.
