The £12m Globe Arena opened its doors for the first time ahead of the 2010/1 season and became one of the most recent additions to the circuit. The opening of the new stadium also brought an end to Morecambe's 90-year association with Christie Park, which has been turned over for development.

The away stand at The Globe Arena is said to be fully terraced and can accommodate nearly 1,400 travelling fans, with a bar and catering facilities. Above all else, it's still close enough to go to the beach and build pretty sandcastles if the game is boring/unbearable! Not that it usually is at Morecambe...
