HISTORY

In a similar vein to Milton Keynes Borough, the first incarnation of Milton Keynes City struggled to secure long-term future and indeed floundered in 1985. Formed in 1956 as Bletchley and WIPAC, the club renamed itself as Bletchley Town in 1957 before becoming Milton Keynes City in 1974 for a short-lived existence; 11 years later, the club was wound up.
