HISTORY

The senior representative team of the Metropolitan Police force was formed in 1919, fighting its way up to the Isthmian League Division One level and currently compete in the Ryman League Division One South. Stevenage Borough's most recent meeting with their police counterparts was in a pre-season friendly in 2003, when Boro' racked up a mighty 11-0 victory; Tony Battersby netted five.
