Who Are... Letchworth Garden City FC?
Eventually known as Letchworth, the club was originally formed as Garden City in the early years of the 20th century before going through a number of name changes - Letchworth Athletic, Letchworth Town, Letchworth Garden City - before dropping all suffixes in 1995 to be simply known as Letchworth. However, the club resigned from the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division in the 2002/3 season and folded. A new team - Baldock Town Letchworth - now uses the Letchworth ground, which is also the home of Hertfordshire Football Association.
