HISTORY

The curtain came down on the independent existence of Hinckley Athletic in 1997 when it joined forces with Hinckley Town to form the Hinckley United that is around these days. Behind them, Athletic left a legacy dominated by West Midlands League Premier Division football after leaving the Southern League in 1967.
