Who Are... Hereford United FC?
When Hereford United finished second for the third successive season in the 2005/6 campaign, it was more or less time that the Bulls finally made the step back into the Football League after a stay in the Conference that was arguably longer than the club would have wished. Indeed, Stevenage Borough were one of the clubs to put paid to Hereford's prior promotion battles on the Hertfordshire club's way to the playoff final in 2005.

Now in the Football League, Hereford United secured another promotion to League One but faltered and finished bottom in 2008/9 to find themselves back in League Two.
