Edgar Street is very much a retro stadium in that it has seen little to no alteration since the 1970s. But for the addition of a scoreboard in 2000, the ground looks little different today than when disco dancing went tragically out of fashion. It has hosted the current conception of the Hereford team for over eight decades now, but plans are afoot for a redevelopment in order to bring the Blackfriars End back into use.

With the capacity nearing the 9,000 mark, it is one of the more moderately sized grounds in the lower leagues, which remained largely untested during the seasons following relegation to the Conference. Indeed, it was in the Conference that 867 became a record LOW league attendance at the ground, when Kingstonian visited in April 2001.
