Formed in 2007 when Hayes and Yeading United merged to ensure sustainable football in the local community, the club had a relatively good start in life by assuming Hayes' position in the Blue Square South. Pooling their resources to secure the future of lower league football in west London, the club went up to the Blue Square Premier to really test itself.
As a sole entity, Hayes were tough opposition. During the last two seasons of their stay in the Nationwide Conference, Boro' seemed to fare better away from home. The Hertfordshire club had a fairly decent record against the Middlesex side, but a 5-1 home defeat in 1997 is one of the lowest points of Boro's time in the Conference.
