Haringey Borough's history stretches back to 1907 via a series of different identities, starting with Tufnell Park. The club merged with Edmonton Borough in 1950 before dropping the Tufnell Park reference in 1960. In 1973, Haringey was added to the club's name to create Edmonton and Haringey, with the new addition becoming the prominent feature of the club's name in 1976 when the club adopted the Haringey Borough name.
Despite a brief flirtation with the Tufnell Park name again in 1995, the club has maintained the Borough identity since. Isthmian League appearances during the inter-war years were arguably the club's most fruitful period, with four seasons in Division Two North during the 1980s their only reapperance before an inactive season and a move into the Spartan League.
