Back-to-back FA Vase successes during the mid-1980s remain Halesowen Town's greatest success in their history; one that has seen the Yeltz compete in the Southern League since 1985 after four successive title wins in the West Midlands Premier League. However, progress has been stifled since then, despite some decent showings in the Southern League Premier Division. Promotion to the Blue Square North/South is next on the agenda, while the club will be keen to improve their best FA Cup showing of nine first round appearances.
