The Gateshead International Stadium is one that is more renowned for its status as an athletics venue, hosting some of the world's foremost performers in track and field. However, to apply the same pedigree to the football side of its operations would be a tad generous to say the least.

And yet, it presents one of the most unique settings in which to find non-league players strutting their stuff, with a capacity (barely challenged in modern times) of nearly 12,000. While it may be world-class in terms of athletics provision, the experience for football fans will not be an enjoyable.
