HISTORY

Well, the Fisher Athletic we refer to are no more. The Bermondsey club was wound up in 2009 by the High Court after all manner of financial difficulties led to HM Revenue and Customs getting impatient in the chase for unpaid tax.

As a result, the Blue Square South outfit was forced out of business and seeking a new life as Fisher FC in the Kent League going into the 2009/10 season.
