HISTORY

Formed just six years before Stevenage, East Thurrock United haven't quite enjoyed as meteoric a rise as their Hertfordshire counterparts but the upward curve taken off. After competing in the London Spartan League and the Essex Senior League, the club scaled the Isthmian League ladder and reached the Premier Division.

However, progress has been checked by relegation back to Division One North in 2008. Two meetings between the clubs has produced two wins for Stevenage in FA Cup qualifying rounds.
