HISTORY

For most of the last few decades, Dorking have been more familiar with the lower rungs of the Isthmian League ladder but found themselves heading upwards in the early 1990s. The club's ascent into the Premier Division, however, resulted in a brief, one-season stay and just so happened to coincide with Stevenage Borough's march into the Conference.

The Hertfordshire club's dominance that season was almost epitomised by their 5-1 win at Dorking's Meadowbank. Since those days, however, Dorking have seen a slump back down the Isthmian pyramid and into the Combined Counties League.
