Considering that Dagenham & Redbridge were twice so close to gaining promotion to the Football League before making the step up, it is the case that the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Stadium was designed with that goal in mind. Capable of gaining Football League approval, the ground was not actually one of the largest in the Conference although comfortably meets the demands placed upon it week-in, week-out.

Having said that, it was one of the better grounds in the Conference at present. The view from the uncovered away terrace behind the goal was not a bad one, even if the goal itself did tend to interfere a little, but it's nothing major. Certainly not now, given the fact that Dagenham & Redbridge have invested in a plush new seated stand that meets Football League requirements.
