HISTORY

Formed as Croydon Amateurs in 1953, the club dropped the suffix in 1973 ahead of their enrolment in the Isthmian League. After a number of seasons in the Premier Division gave way to the second tier of the league structure, fortunes somewhat wavered for the South London club. The Trams - named after the recently installed Tramlink - were moved into the Kent County League when the leagues were restructured in 2006.
