Ground Information

Visitors
Away Supporters' Stand:

St Jamesí Road Terrace

Tickets
Ticket Prices:

Wheelchair
Facilities for Disabled Supporters:

We understand that, while disabled supporters have to pay the full ticket price at St James' Park, a personal assistant is admitted free if a supporter is in receipt of the middle or higher rate of the Disability Living Allowance, or the Severe Disablement Allowance or Attendance Allowance or a personal letter from a GP.

From a facilities perspective, fans with a visual impairment can contact the club in advance to take advantage of a headset providing commentary. Wheelchair spaces are available for visiting supporters, but not in the same area of the away supporters.

Facilities are on offer for fans with an ambulant disability, and all travelling supporters with a disability can use one of the two car parking spaces available to away fans. You'll have to contact the club up to a day before the game to ensure this can be arranged.

Beer
Pre-Match Pint:

Not far from the ground and popular with away fans in previous years, the Wells Tavern on Well Street is one option for a swift half before the game. Otherwise, you might find it an idea to venture into the centre of Exeter itself.

Travel Information

Distance
Distance (By Road):

217 miles

Car Route
By Road:

With Devon bring on the toe-end of England, routes to Exeter are pretty limited in number. Essentially, head down the M4 towards Bristol, then take the M5 southbound which terminates at Exeter. However, there are 3 Exeter junctions on the M5 (29, 30 and 31), so it's imperative that you take the right one - Junction 31.

Take the A30 off the motorway, turning off after 2 miles onto the A377. Head up the A377 to the roundabout after 1.5 miles and take the 4th exit onto Frog Street (B3212) which becomes Western Way. The B3212 leads you to St James after just more than 1 mile and a roundabout.

Take the second exit here onto Old Tiverton Road and the next left into St James Road. The ground is dead ahead.

Parking
Where To Park?:

Street parking around the ground is restricted to residents only, but there are a couple of pay and display car parks nearby, with King William being nearest the away end.

Train Route
By Train:

Station: ST JAMES' PARK (via EXETER CENTRAL)
Services to: LONDON PADDINGTON (FGW), LONDON WATERLOO (SWT)

The ground is only 0.5 miles from Exeter Central but many of the trains will not stop here but at St. Davids only, and you will need to change to get to Central. This is no real hassle though, as the trip between the two is only 3 minutes long, and run every 15-20 minutes.

If changing at St Davids then you can get a direct train to St James' Park (Exmouth line), as there are tie-ins with the train companies so there are trains on match days stopping there at times suitable for the match.

Exit from the rear of Exeter Central and turn right in New North road, before taking the left hand turn into Longbrook Street. Pass the Black Horse pub on the left, and at the grass triangle verge right and then right again into York Road, turning left at the school into Well Street.

When arriving at the ground, go right to get to the away terrace (St James' Road), or continue ahead for the seats.

Thanks to Oliver South for information.
