Car Coming By Car?
As you would expect, a car journey from Stevenage to Carlisle will take a long time. Firstly, you will need to get across and onto the M1, using whichever is the preferred route. Once on the M1, we suggest that you carry on up to Junction 24, and exit onto the A50 which will take you across to the M6 via Stoke.

Join the M6 northbound and get used to it, because you'll see a lot of this motorway, as for Carlisle United, you need Junction 43. At Junction 43, take the first exit at the roundabout for Carlisle city centre and follow the road through two sets of traffic lights. Eventually, the ground will be to the right of the road.

Parking Where To Park?
There is a large car park at the ground that will cost you £2 to use, which is the first right (discounting the rugby club) after Brunton Park into Victoria Place, followed by another right onto St Aidans Road. Otherwise, street parking will be the alternative.

Train Coming By Train?
Station: CARLISLE
Served by: VIRGIN TRAINS
Services to: LONDON EUSTON

As you come out of the train station, head left until you are on Court Square. From here, head right and cross English Street/Botchergate running perpendicular to the A6 in front of you. Follow the A6 as it snakes around to the left past La Mezzaluna and The Best Connection Group, before turning right.

Now you will be on Warwick Road – it is more or less a straight line to Brunton Park from here. Albeit a 0.8-mile straight line.
