Who Are... Burton Albion FC?
Managed by Nigel Clough for a large chunk of their recent non-league stint, Burton Albion were crowned champions of the Blue Square Premier in 2008/9 under the temporary stewardship of Roy McFarland and went up to the Football League for the first time in their 60-year history. Boro' may be happy to see the back of the Brewers, who were a tough opponent and boasted a decent record against their Hertfordshire counterparts. How they fare in the Football League now remains to be seen, but it could be a tough new chapter to their history - especially with a fresh management team at the helm. |
