Who Are... Burton Albion FC?
Managed by Nigel Clough for a large chunk of their recent non-league stint, Burton Albion were crowned champions of the Blue Square Premier in 2008/9 under the stewardship of Roy McFarland and went up to the Football League for the first time in their 60-year history. Now led by former Birmingham City striker Paul Peschisolido, the Brewers consolidated their rise into the League with a bottom-half finish comfortably away from the relegation battle.

After seeing the back of the Brewers during the 2009/10 campaign, 2010 will see Stevenage reaquainted with a team that boasts an impressive record agaainst the team from Broadhall Way. Certainly during the club's debut season in the League generated some remarkable results with goals aplenty; the most iconic one being a 6-5 defeat at home to Cheltenham Town having led 5-3 going into the final ten minutes.

With a fine finish in their first foray in the Football League (well, respectable mid-table but everyone loves a bit of alliteration), Burton Albion always look set to provide tough tests for the Boro' and the renewal of old rivalries between two teams from a similar background but with bright new futures.
