HISTORY

A mainstay of the Essex Senior League, Brightlingsea United had a brief foray in the Eastern Counties League between 1990 and 2001 before leaving to rejoin what is now called the Essex and Suffolk Border League. The club merged with Regent Park Rangers in 2006, which accounts for the club's name in its current guise.
