HISTORY

If you can bring yourself to believe it, but both former Scottish footballer Ian St John and golfer-meets-comedian Jimmy Tarbuck are vice-presidents of Biggleswade Town, who were crowned champions of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division in 2009 to seal their passage into the Southern League for the first time in their history. Also in 2009, the club relocated to its brand new Carlsberg Stadium, capable of accommodating 2,500 spectators.
